Basketball Leagues.

London Basketball is a winter basketball program for boys and girls aged 6 to 14. The league generally runs from mid November to mid March, but the schedule changes slightly each year based on the timing of school holidays. We welcome children of all nationalities whether they are newcomers to the game or are experienced players. Our goal is to give every player the chance to learn about basketball, improve their skills and develop self confidence and self-esteem. In all of our divisions, whether competitive or instructional, we emphasise the value of teamwork and, above all, good sportsmanship.

Please help us out by volunteering to coach or by volunteering for other jobs which are less time consuming but nonetheless very important. We can't do it without your help!

Skills Assessments.

The Skill Assessment session is important so that the coaches and division heads can strive to make the teams as even as possible. The more evenly matched the teams are, the more fun the league will be for all the participants. So even if your son or daughter has played in the London Basketball League previously, it is important to come to the Skills Assessment session. For the 2017/2018 season, the skills assessment sessions will take place at ASL on Sunday November 12th. Timings will be confirmed shortly. Developmental League players do not need to be assessed. All abailities will be welcomed.
